Demons Run
Remembrance day is a world wide sacred event. At 11/11/2011 the entire free world stopped what they were doing for at least two minutes and meditated upon war and freedom, life and death, honor and valor. It was no exception for Team Hutchison. We have had our fair share of scrapes in our careful silent civil war against the energy conglomerates. For us it meant giving thanks and counting our many blessings, for we truly have been blessed. We have been keeping a secret under our hat, our classified covert bio-chemistry laboratory has been nearing completion for the past while. The idea was to follow William Reich’s research into orgone energy, and create a genetically engineered strain of oil-eating mushroom based upon the oyster mushroom and Paul Stammets body of research, 6 ways the mushroom can save the world. Since the previous labatories, every single one of them had been destroyed and seized by the Canadian Government, we decided to make this one portable, self sustaining, and beyond the governments jurisdiction. The Suquamish I was a 90' ferry built in 1947 by the Vancouver Shipyards. Her home port was the Suquamish Nation quite near Seattle Washington. The natives had no bridge connecting them to the mainland, so the ferry was used for this purpose until a new one was built. She was then used as a fishing boat for the Nation, then decommissioned and sold to private buyers. In the fall of 2008 tragedy struck as she listed on a sand bar at low tide. She was sunk, and the superstructure was torn from her hull as she went down up against the HMS Pacific Express captained by Grieg Thoraculious. Captain Grieg put his ship and crew at great risk to assist the owner in her recovery. At low tide with multiple trash pumps and the Express correcting the list he raised her from the bed of the Fraser river. The current owner of the Suquamish I at the time was overwhelmed and unable to continue his dream any longer. She had been destroyed, there was little left except a concrete lined Douglass Fir hull full of debris, contamination, and of course mountain of supplies now turned to garbage. That’s when we found her listed on Craig list for the princely sum of $5000. And so in March of 2009, team Hutchison acquired this vessel and began the long process of cleanup, disposal, and total refit. By May with a small army of workers the Suquamish I had a new superstructure, and had been refit from the bilge to the top. What we put inside was living quarters, command center, laboratory, and 3000 liters of sewage treatment below decks. She boasts a Gardner L8 power plant. She sleeps 20 persons with comfort and has galley, salon, and of course a big jet tub. Her eventual destination was to be in the Gulf of Mexico to give John a new laboratory, and a perfect place to continue his personal gulf oil cleanup with the mushroom experiments. This was the general idea. We were 2 weeks from having her under her own power and steering. She was ready for service, we were declassifying our intentions and generating public interest and support for the last month to help John raise awareness that he was going to launch his first Ship based laboratory. You can imagine how excited we all were. The emails had already begun to go to the press, and John's very close friends were being made aware of new discoveries for the pollution solution. There was nothing that could stop us now, or so we thought. On 11/11/11, a freemason with a letter of authority from the City of New Westminster, B.C. took a knife and cut the lines of the HMS Pacific Express. Our sister ship and neighbor had been attacked in broad daylight by the owner of the Marina (Sather Boat Works) in full view of everyone. Her new captain James Middleton watched helplessly as his vessel and her crew were whipped sideways into the Fraser River by 40 not (90 KMPH) winds. Her only lines to the shore were attached to the Suquamish I. Without fear or hesitation the crew raced to all the dingys and attempted to bring her back under control. The winds and the tides worked against them as they fought to save the boat. The way it was tied, the Suquamish I and half of the marina were being torn apart by the gale force winds. Here is the difficult part to understand. The crew in the dingies were children. They had no time to dawn their life-jackets or get parents permission, or even make a phone call. Have you ever seen a 4 horse power dingy take on a beast of a challenge like this? Have you ever seen a child face death and look right past it? If only we had footage or proof. If only we could show the whole world that the Port Authority, the New Westminster Police department, the Coast Guard and the Mayors office co-ordinated this attack against these unarmed children and then denied them all emergency services while they fought for their very lives. Well, guess what ladies and gentlemen, it was all recorded, nearly every word and the entire cataclysm is recorded by Captain Grieg from aboard his new ship. Releasing this video means the very end of Grieg’s career as a luxury yacht captain, for it was his boss Ken Milne who personally slit the ropes and tried to kill the children. This is really ironic that this person decided that remeberence day would be the day war was declared upon the children as the ex-warship WWII HMS Pacific Express Class Sub-Chaser was cut loose endangering everyone including the Alex Fraser Bridge had she gone down river! As you can see, the kids didn't have a chance or a choice. 90 KMPH WINDS!! As you see them pushing the huge ship with their tiny dingies without their life jackets, without their distress call being answered, it's a mirical no one was killed. These kids are not trained for anything like this. Well, they are now. After they got control of it the captain James Middleton phoned me to advise of the situation. I had been there just earlier and seen the supervisor SUV for the New Westminster police prowling around, but not going down the dock. His actions were suspicious, and I decided that I dont need to follow a snake to see why it slithers, its a snake. So I left. I had no idea something could transpire like this. The next phone call I got was an accidental redial from captain James. I heard the childrens frightened angry declarations and accusations against the landlord Ken Milne. At this point when I couldn't stomach any more (its very difficult for a father to hear ANY children in distress), I phoned captain Greig to make sure there was an adult witness present until I could return and assist. Captain Greig happened to record the entire conversation between us as well.Here is that clip.
At about 5:30 pm I had a phone call from the landlord Ken Milne, who I had been listening to on the telephone. I Recorded this Phone call of him admitting that he had cut the lines of Captain James' Ship. He told me how he had "protected my investment" as it all went down. Here is that clip...
When all was said and done, Team Hutchison donated our $70,000 investment to the children that went out and risked their lives that day. The 90 foot ship / laboratory we had been creating for another kind of (environmental) war was called to service earlier than expected. These kids have invited more young people to occupy vancouver's waters and take a stand. A 220 ton Cruise ship owned by the Pirate Ken Milne was set free in Granville Island, the Burrard Queen seems to be related to this incident. It was set free 15 minutes after the first video was shot. I would have to say it might have possibly been a distraction to force the pirate who tried to harm the children to leave the scene so they could get the boat under control in his absence. Or perhapse it was just retalliation. Either way, Ken Milne has a pretty good idea about now that if he harms those kids again in any way, he is going to lose his Queen in this game of chess. It just takes one person to admit to the act, and insurance will not cover any related damages if the victim knows the perpetrator or has otherwise caused his own problem. In that event, insurance tells the claimant to pursue the offender in civil court.
In the Aftermath of this incident, Captain James registered the Suquamish I redesignating her the "Phoenix Rose" named for my two lovely daughters. When the devil came to test the children, they all bound together as one. They won their freedom, saved eachother's lives and the PHOENIX ROSE! James Middleton honored DEAN DRAYCOTT for his heroic decisive actions by making him the new Captain of the Phoenix Rose. Dean has risked his life on a number of occasions and has even been honoured with a medal from Canada for saving a womans life years ago. That's how he aquired his first yacht, and learned his craft. Dean has also risked life and limb putting out the massive fire on Captain Greig's tug Boat just weeks earlier. Captain's Greig and James now have themselves a small Navy. We say Navy because this seems like a declaration of war to us. The only way to advance their rank was through the collective efforts and co-operation of eachother, and their respective crews. They have each trained Captains under them and continue to hold the squadron together. And this was how the Captains became Admirals on Rememberance day 2011. The root of the word Admiral is admire. Their courage and selflessness have certainly earned them our admiration and that of their crews. We think they will win your hearts too.
Team Hutchison officially dubs the City NEW WEST-MONSTER, and Sather Boatworks shall be hearafter known and referred to as Demons Run. For it is said, "When a good man goes to war, Demons Run!" Dr. Who Season Six
As for John's next lab, we had already had another venture under way in another place. Our experimental oil eating mushroom strains have been relocated and are being regrown in a new lab that was donated to us by members of the Team, THANK YOU ALL!!! However, the ship was kind of instrumental in dispersing the fruit of our labours. The link to the current experiment we are talking about is here. Who are these people and just what do they think they are doing on these boats any ways?
The Pacific Express was owned by Captain Greig. In early 2011 Greig bought another ship, the Malecite and needed to pass the torch. Greig has been employing people who seem to have fallen through the cracks, or otherwise have gravitated there by some mystical divine providence perhaps. Captain Greig teaches boating safety, and gives many different people from all walks of life and experience, some structure, and other ship write and engineering experience. Many a lost soul has found purpose in some of Greig's projects over the years. Captain James was inspired by what was going on and decided to take up the torch in his own way. James has a crew of much younger individuals some might call hippies, flower children etc. James' crew goes out into the river and along the local islands and collects logs. On the Pacific Express a wood mill has been set up among other tools. They skin, plane and shape the logs into posts, stairs, walls you name it. Everyone is fed, and they are even paid. James runs a festival in Creston B.C. Called the Kootenanny Music Festival . He is responsible for ten thousand people at a time there. He is the liason for the entire production, and he deals with the city planners among other issues and arrangements. His qualifications to do what he is doing responsibly are untarnished. He gives many people hope and purpose who otherwise might just end up in the streets due to their idiosyncricities. In a very short time many people have come and gone away richer in cash and confidence. These people have a home, a job, and they are fed. That's a lot more than some people can say. Some of these kids need a family. Some of these adults are still kids because they were weaned too young and fell into addiction. Greig and James provide leadership, structure, and family for anyone who wants to take part. All of these people are card carrying members of our society. They make crafts, art, music and trades. They are not asking permission, nor are they trying to color outside the lines. They don't require permission to have a beautiful life, it is our divine right as human beings. Should they go on welfare or something? What is the purpose of this vulgar attack on OUR youth?? I personally think they should align themselves with occupy Vancouver and add their Navy to the sit in.
